As a Veterinary Receptionist you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our valued customers. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Duties:

– Politely greeting clients, answering phone calls, taking and passing messages on to appropriate team member; basic knowledge of computer systems; assisting clients with large pets or multiple purchases; quickly and efficiently assist clients with dropping off and picking up their pets; maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hospital; assisting clients within the limits of our hospital policies, in whatever capacity necessary to maintain quality client relationships.
- Engage with customers via inbound and outbound calls to provide assistance and support.
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette while handling customer inquiries and resolving complaints.
- Scheduling and checking in of appointments, surgeries, boarding and grooming reservations. Greeting clients and patients as they enter the hospital. Invoicing clients after their visit. Creating client/patient medical records. Educating clients about general pet care, heartworm and flea preventatives and pertinent services offered by MSAH.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service and exceed customer expectations.

Experience:

- Great communication skills.
- Experience in a customer service role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to handling customer issues.
- Knowledge of Cornerstone is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 44 per week
